Our Bakery concept is that of old world italy. Our master baker and partner Salvatore Paturzo was born and raised in the bakery business in Sorrento, Italy where he took over his fathers bakery at the age of 10. Sal continued to work hard as a young business owner becoming one of the most respected bakers in Sorrento, Italy.
Fast forward to present day, Sal, who has 55 years of bakery experience and his wife Rose Paturzo have been operating Sorrento’s for over 16 years in Pasco County. Sorrento’s are known for it’s from scratch cookies, cakes, and pastries with its sacred recipes dating back to the 1960’s.
In the Early days of Sorrento’s, the husband and wife team were a dynamic duo of excellence, Rose serving the customers and Sal baking his heart out. Sorrento built such a reputation that on Holidays they serve their first customer at 4am. Every holiday turned into an around the clock operation in order to serve the community of Pasco with their delicious butter cookies, pignoli cookies, rainbow cookies, cannolis, lobster tails, Casada Cakes, Cheese Cakes, sfogliatella, and much more.
Sorrento Sweets will be offering an amazing selection of cookies, cakes, and pastries made with love out of its Pasco manufacturing facility. In addition it will offer a fun mix of beverage options to include gelato shakes, gelato floats, espresso drinks, and more.
