In the offseason of 2024, the Dallas Cowboys might consider a "young, depth" cornerback option.
Rock Ya-Sin of the Baltimore Ravens is one free agent who, as Pro Football Focus' Brad Spielberger pointed out,
he did so in 29 games for the Indianapolis Colts and nine games for the Las Vegas Raiders last season.
However, as a reserve cornerback for the Ravens, he is undoubtedly buried on the depth chart.
Ya-Sin committed to a one-year contract with the Ravens in the offseason, which means he will be a free agency in 2024. Ya-Sin,
according to Spielberger, may be a strong depth player for the Cowboys and a very inexpensive acquisition as Dallas eventually turns its focus to contract extensions with top players like Micah Parsons and CeeDee Lamb.
Despite Marlon Humphrey's absence through Week 3, Ya-Sin is not the Ravens' starting cornerback,
with Brandon Stephens and Ronald Darby playing in front of him on the outside, according to Spielberger.
