Man in court for alleged kidnapping plan, according to Holly Willoughby

A man has testified in court on charges of soliciting a murder in connection with an alleged plot to abduct TV host Holly Willoughby.

Gavin Plumb, of Potters Field in Harlow, Essex, is charged with inciting a kidnapping as well.

The 36-year-old, a security guard at a retail center in the city, showed up at Chelmsford Magistrates' Court for a quick hearing.

This Morning on ITV on Thursday did not feature Willoughby. On Thursday night, it was said that she was protected by the police at her residence.

A 36-year-old man is accused of plotting to kidnap and kill TV celebrity Holly Willoughby and has appeared in court.

Gavin Plumb, a resident of Harlow, Essex, is accused of encouraging kidnapping and soliciting the murder of David Nelson between October 2 and October 5 in Harlow, Essex.

 According to the court, the other man was scheduled to fly from the US to the UK the next week.

The court heard allegations that Plumb and another man connived online and drafted a "detailed plan" to commit the crimes.
