A 36-year-old man is accused of plotting to kidnap and kill TV celebrity Holly Willoughby and has appeared in court.

Gavin Plumb, a resident of Harlow, Essex, is accused of encouraging kidnapping and soliciting the murder of David Nelson between October 2 and October 5 in Harlow, Essex.

According to the court, the other man was scheduled to fly from the US to the UK the next week.
