Taylor Swift On Leaked Phone Call With Kanye West, "A Career Death"

American pop sensation Taylor Swift won the title of "Person of the Year" from Time magazine, describing the megastar as the "hero of her own story." Taylor Swift's 2023 "Cruel Summer" will have its foundation laid by the $192.8 million box office debut of "The Eras Tour" earlier this year. The singer called it "a career death."

when Kim Kardashian revealed in a magazine article the topics she and rapper Kanye West had discussed. Kim Kardashian released audio and video recordings in 2016 of pop artist Taylor Swift and her ex-husband conversing on the phone, during which the pop diva appeared to confirm the rapper's derogatory songs about her.

Mr. West wrote the lyrics, which include, "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / I made that b**** famous." After the song was released, Ms. Swift's agent denied rumors that the singer had ever given the lyrics her approval. The video had no mention of West calling Swift a "b****" or saying he "made her famous" in the unlikely event that the complete, unaltered transcript of their exchange became available to the public in 2020.

The 33-year-old vocalist continued, stating that she believed the song to be "a career death" because it appeared she agreed with the lyrics. I lost my career, no question about it. She told the outlet, "You have a completely made-up frame job in an illegally recorded phone call that Kim Kardashian edited and then released to say to everyone that I was a liar."

She ran away from the scene to escape the attention, which had a negative psychological impact on her. I've never gone anywhere close to that psychologically before. I relocated to a new nation. Before moving out, I lived in a rental home for a year. Taking phone calls worried me. I stopped trusting most of the people in my life, so I turned them away.

Time Magazine quoted the "Lover" singer as saying, "I went down really, really hard." JioSaavn.com only has the newest songs available. Prior to the whole exchange between Ms. Swift and Mr. West going viral on the internet in March 2020, the "All Too Well" singer accused the rapper and his ex-wife of "editing and manipulating" parts of the 2016 phone call.

SKIMS's creator responded on Twitter, saying, "@taylorswift13 has chosen to reignite an old exchange - that at this point in time feels very self-serving given the suffering millions of real victims are facing right now." She clarified that the call's recording was unaltered by her.

"Kanye has documented the making of all of his albums for his personal archive, however has never released any of it for public consumption and the call between the two of them would have remained private or would have gone in the trash had she not lied and forced me to defend him," she said.
