JJ Watt on Jason Kelce's 'unbelievable career' and why he was 'frustrating to play against'

After his final 2022 NFL game with the Arizona Cardinals, J.J. Watt cried.

Before announcing his retirement earlier this month, Jason Kelce was unsure of his future move

His 45-minute parting address in Philadelphia was tearful.

Watt thought about how "frustrating" it was playing against Kelce as he pondered on his tenure as the Philadelphia Eagles' center.

Playing against him is frustrating. Too smart. Overly athletic.

Watt talked Fox News Digital about his new partnership with DICK'S House of Sport, DICK'S Sporting Goods' larger, experiential store.

Though Watt knew his path before Kelce, they both entered the NFL at the same time.

A top defensive line prospect from Wisconsin, Watt was drafted 11th overall by the Houston Texans in 2011.

His career started slowly (5.5 sacks in 16 games), but he burst out in 2012 with 20.5 sacks and 39 tackles for loss

winning AP Defensive Player of the Year and his first of five first-team All-Pro honors.
