Rapper Kodak Black was arrested in Florida for cocaine possession and evidence tampering.

Kodak Black is back in jail after being arrested in Florida on cocaine possession allegations.

According to arrest records obtained by USA TODAY, the rapper, born Bill Kapri, 26, was lodged in a county prison on Thursday in Plantation, Florida, 

on charges including tampering with or falsifying physical evidence and unlawfully halting or parking a vehicle.

According to local news sites WSVN in Miami and WTVJ South Florida, the "Super Gremlin" rapper was apprehended by a Plantation Police Department officer who saw a black Bentley SUV stopped on the side of the road. 

According to the publications, the officer claims he saw Black asleep in the driver's seat and smelled a strong odor of smoked cannabis coming from the vehicle.Plantation police and Black's attorney have been contacted for comment.

According to the reports, officers discovered cannabis wrapping paper and residue and later saw a white powder fall from Black. In addition, a clear plastic bag containing a white chunky substance was purportedly discovered in Black's pocket. 

The police' field testing indicate that the material was cocaine.The Florida-born rapper was apprehended in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in July 2022,

when the Florida Highway Patrol pulled him over for driving an SUV with window tinting darker than the legal limit.
