Seahawks’ $4 Million RB Hits Major Setback Ahead of Week 1

The Seattle Seahawks received awful news about running back Kenny McIntosh just one day before their season opener against the Los Angeles Rams.

McIntosh, who signed a four-year, $3.9 million rookie contract with Seattle this offseason, was already declared out for Week 1,

but the Seahawks announced on Saturday, September 9, that he was placed on injured reserve (IR), meaning he'll be sidelined for at least four weeks.

McIntosh's first possible game back will be in Week 6 due to Seattle's early bye in Week 5.
