Tom Brady trades $1K rookie card to young fan for Eagles jersey: Keep that card some time

This past Saturday, a lucky NFL fan made the deal of a lifetime with NFL legend Tom Brady, earning him a $1,000 Brady rookie sports card.

Brady was one of an All-Star lineup of athletes and stars that took part in Fanatics' first "Topps Hobby Rip Night."

Which saw sports card and memorabilia collectors visit regional hobby stores across the nation to meet some.

Of the biggest names in the world and get some incredible opportunities to score some new, rare cards.

At Wax, Packs and Throwbacks in Linwood, New Jersey, Brady and Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin spoke with children and distributed some fantastic trading cards from Brady's NFL career.

These contained the wide receiver cards of Wes Welker, Mike Evans, and Rob Gronkowski, the tight end.

Brady, though, had a prized rookie card that was reportedly worth $1,000 that he intended to sell to a young fan.

Brady yearned for his DeVonta Smith Philadelphia Eagles uniform.
