While cheering for the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium, Tony Romo calls Taylor Swift Travis Kelce's "wife."

It sounds like "All they keep asking me is if I'm gonna be your bride" might have been Taylor Swift's night after Tony Romo called the singer Travis Kelce's "wife" by accident on Sunday (Dec. 10).

Romo made a mistake when Kelce caught a great pass in the second quarter of the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Buffalo Bills game at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday night.

He was talking about the play and said, "As you see Kelce's wife, Taylor Swift, in the audience..." He quickly fixed himself with a nervous laugh and said, "I'm sorry, girlfriend."

Swift stood in a room with friends on Sunday, wearing an old Chiefs sweatshirt, to watch the game.

After being named TIME's Person of the Year, the pop star revealed that she is dating Kelce in her cover story interview that came out this week. In the interview, she called herself and Kelce a "couple."

"We had a lot of time together that no one knew about, which I'm glad about because it gave us a chance to get to know each other."

"By the time I went to that first game, we were dating," Swift said about her September trip to her first Chiefs game. "I think some people saw our first date at that game. We'd never be crazy enough to start a first date off on the wrong foot.

The word "Tony Romo" became popular on X (formerly Twitter) right after he called Swift Kelce's "wife."
