Yellowstones’ Kevin Costner ‘Hit it Off’ With Singer Jewel Following Christine Baumgartner Divorce

He was a bachelor in heaven. Kevin Costner jetted off to billionaire Richard Branson's Necker Island — a private enclave in the British Virgin Islands with pristine white sand beaches and crystal clear waters — for a week in November,

two months after settling his contentious divorce with ex-wife Christine Baumgartner."Kevin looked handsome, tanned, and fit," a source tells In Touch exclusively. "All the guests were going crazy over him."

Especially one particular guest. "He really hit it off with Jewel," says a source of the singer-songwriter, who was seen flirting with the Oscar winner during the week's events, which included scuba diving, sailing, and star-studded parties with socialites and other celebs.

"After 18 years of marriage, he's enjoying being single again, but she definitely caught his eye." He's eager to get on with his life."They share many similarities.

Not only are they both musicians (he fronts the country rock band Kevin Costner & Modern West), but Jewel, who grew up in rural Alaska, would fit right in on Yellowstone's cherished 160-acre ranch in Aspen, Colorado.

According to the source, the 49-year-old single mom, who was married to rodeo star Ty Murray for six years, "often falls for rugged cowboy types," but Kevin, 68, "has a thing for blondes."

They had plenty of time to get to know one another. "At one dinner, they were seated next to each other, laughing and chatting," the insider said. "They looked like they were having a lot of fun."

That's exactly what he needs after a difficult year. Kevin left Yellowstone during his battle with Christine, and he has intimated that he may have to sue for lost earnings.
