Our Editors’ Fall 2024 Bridal Fashion Week Favourites

We have an obligation as Brides editors to attend New York Bridal Fashion twice a year. That is to say, we get to see the most stunning wedding dresses up close and personal by visiting showroom appointments, sitting at runway shows, and having meetings with designers. It’s a fascinating profession.

Designers and brands particularly surpassed our expectations for the Fall 2024 season, creating vibrant, inventive, and new clothing that brides would adore. We were amazed by the amount of work each designer put into their unique designs and saw new trends emerge, such as redesigned bodices and jackets with 3D embellishments. To put it plainly, the season was spectacular!

Keeping all of this in mind, throughout this industry event, there were definitely a few elements that drew our attention. We compiled a list of our top looks from Fall 2024 Bridal Fashion Week because of this. See who made the list by reading on.

Jenny Yoo

Bridal Fashion

“While pearls have been in style for a while, I really like Jenny Yoo’s novel technique to incorporating them into the ‘Morgan’ wedding dress. A modern and fresh spin on the style was achieved by teaming the sheer illusion long sleeves with a sleek and understated sheath.” Gabriella Rello Duffy, Head of Editing

THEIA

Bridal Fashion

Something about this garment, possibly the slightly gathered, folded neckline and the partially undone covered buttons at the sleeves, gives me the impression that it will look good in pictures taken both now and in fifty years . The asymmetrical twist train adds just the right amount of modernism, while the stretch crepe fabric is genuinely timeless. It’s a dress that genuinely straddles the modern-classic spectrum that so many brides aspire to.” – Associate Editorial Director Sarah Schreiber

Milla Nova

Bridal Fashion

Nothing is more startling than a wedding-day outfit that defies every convention, and this Milla Nova ensemble certainly does that. Although the brand dressed the gender-neutral, volumetric jacket with a sensual slip dress, it’s still a standout piece on its own. All things considered, it’s a unique outfit that many daring brides will undoubtedly love this coming year.” – Senior Fashion Editor Corinne Pierre-Louis

Kaviar Gauche

Bridal Fashion

“Kaviar Gauche’s strapless corseted jumpsuit is ideal for contemporary brides who wish to turn heads on their wedding weekend. I can picture brides wearing this silk-satin jumpsuit to their rehearsal dinner, down the aisle, to city hall, or even to their reception because of how adaptable it is.” – Senior Social Media Editor Jessica Chassin Blaser

Rime Arodaky

Bridal Fashion

“I knew this Rime Arodaky set on the runway would be one of my favourites of the season the moment I saw it. Unlike anything I have seen recently in bridal, they have taken loungewear made of silk and lace and transformed it into a striking style. It’s modern and full of design options: you may wear the lace underwear on your wedding night, dress it down with shoes for your honeymoon, or dress it up with heels for your pre-wedding activities. It’s the cutest addition to your wedding attire.” – Araziel Jackson, Editor of Social Media

Nadia Manjarrez Bridal

Bridal Fashion

“This season, corsets are all the rage, and I think designer Nadia Manjarrez’s version is such a charming and whimsical take on the style. I adore how the dress has a bold flare thanks to the bustier bodice’s exposed boning and deep V-neck, and the all-over lace fabric and draped sleeves provide the ideal contrast.” – Assistant Editor Lilly Blomquist

Kaviar Gauche

Bridal Fashion

“Flower-embroidered dresses always appeal to me, and this mini was one of my best finds of the year. I adore this playful ensemble for a post-wedding luncheon or maybe an after-party.” Gabriella Rello Duffy, Head of Editing

Jenny Yoo

Bridal Fashion

“Pearls are something I think I will always love. There’s a reason they’re a traditional wedding detail! I think brides inclined to romantic, cottagecore shapes (but who want a little something more) feel the same way about the tiny versions scattered around the sleeves, bodice, and skirt of this feminine A-line.” – Associate Editorial Director Sarah Schreiber

Prea James Bridal

Bridal Fashion

“A two-piece wedding outfit will always have a particular place in my heart, especially when designers come up with fresh takes on classic silhouettes. In particular, the twisted, high-waisted skirt and the curved neckline of the corset top made this Prea James corset and skirt combination a remarkable find this season.” – Senior Fashion Editor Corinne Pierre-Louis

Dana Harel

Bridal Fashion

“I’m obsessed with this pair of Dana Harel’s earrings. Is this the most sensible bridal ensemble? Not precisely. Is it really that cool? Indeed. This daring party ensemble, with its open back and low-rise skirt, is totally in style. I can so see a bride wearing this to her after- or welcome-party. Furthermore, the options for mixing and matching are infinite: When you pair the top with white shorts or slacks, your wedding outfit takes on a completely new style.” – Senior Social Media Editor Jessica Chassin Blaser

Nadia Manjarrez Bridal

Bridal Fashion

“This Nadia Manjarrez  two-piece set is proof that the peplum trend is back, and I’m glad to see it showing up in bridal wear. The strapless top looks effortlessly beautiful when paired with a little or maxi skirt made of Italian Duchess crepe. This look is the pinnacle of a contemporary, minimalist bridal, enhanced with a flowing neck scarf, which is projected to be one of 2024’s top accessory trends.” – Araziel Jackson, Editor of Social Media

Elie Saab

Bridal Fashion

“While ladies are choosing increasingly ornate wedding gowns, there’s something so lovely about a simple canvas. Elie Saab’s Fall 2024 collection has a satin wedding dress that is sleek and understated, yet still bold because to its sweeping train and fine pleating. – Assistant Editor Lilly Blomquist
